Description

This hockey puck was presented to ice hockey center Guyle Fielder and inscribed “112 points.” According to www.hockeydb.com, Fielder never finished with 112 points in a season. He had 122 points in 1956-57 and 111 in 1957-58, both with the Seattle Americans of the Western Hockey League. According to Wikipedia.com, Fielder is the fourth-leading scorer in professional ice hockey history with 2,037 points, behind only Wayne Gretzky, Jaromir Jagr and Gordie Howe. The Potlach, Idaho, native led the Western Hockey League in scoring nine times and won the George Leader Cup (as WHL MVP) six times. Fielder still holds minor league hockey records for games played (1,487), points and assists (1,491). Among his minor league teams were the Seattle Americans, Seattle Totems and Portland Buckaroos.
