Center Guyle Fielder wore these skates during his final season as a professional hockey player for the Portland Buckaroos of the Western Hockey League in 1972-73.
Fielder played 70 games that season, recording 11 goals and 47 assists for 58 points.
Fielder likely is the only person to play for three Seattle WHL teams and honored by a fourth Seattle pro hockey team.
The Potlach, Idaho, native played for the Seattle Bombers (1953-54), Seattle Americans (1955-58) and Seattle Totems (1958-69).
The expansion Seattle NHL franchise is slated to begin play during the 2021-22 season.
The Seattle NHL team will honor Fielder by having a locker of his equipment and awards as the first dressing room stall in the locker room, and by creating the Guyle Fielder Award for sportsmanship and leadership.
Fielder still ranks fourth on the all-time scoring list of professional hockey players with 1,929 points.
