Description

Snow covers cars in the Narada Falls parking lot in Mount Rainier National Park in 1935 or ‘36. Located below Paradise, skiers parked at Narada Falls and skied or hiked to Paradise before 1940. In 1940, the park service started opened the road all the way to Paradise for several winters. While the snow is plowed regularly today, many visitors still launch their winter outings from Narada Falls.
