At 14,417 feet, Mount Rainier is the tallest peak in Washington and the 17th tallest in the United States. Interestingly, Alaska has the top ten tallest mountains in the United States. Chinook Pass is a scenic route through the Cascade Mountain Range that takes skiers and hikers through Mount Rainier National Park.
