Tom Bradley (left) and Arthur Green (right) were members of the Tacoma Lawn Bowling Club. They pose for a black-and-white photo taken in 1957 with a lawn bowling runner-up trophy for a national tournament standing between them. The photo was taken at the American Lawn Bowling Association's national open that was held in Tacoma in 1957. The trophy is called the “Lakeside Trophy.” Lawn bowling is a sport where the objective is to roll balls close to a smaller ball. It is played outdoors. The objective is to roll your balls to as close to smaller balls as you can.
