Description

Nick Hagadone, a 2004 graduate of Sumner High School, pitched for the Cleveland Indians from 2011-15. Hagadone was a 36th-round pick by the Seattle Mariners after his senior season at Sumner but didn’t sign. He pitched for the University of Washington during the 2005-06 seasons. Hagadone teamed with Tim Lincecum to throw a no-hitters in a 9-0 win over Santa Clara on March 12, 2006. Hagadone was the No. 55 pick of the first round of the 2007 draft by the Boston Red Sox. Hagadone was traded with two others to the Cleveland Indians for Victor Martinez on July 31, 2009. Hagadone complied a 3-2 record with a 4.72 ERA in 143 games during a five-year career with the Indians. He signed with the Mariners as a free agent in 2017 and posted a 3-3 record with a 3.51 ERA with the AAA Tacoma Rainiers but was released before appearing in a game for the Mariners.
