Clay Huntington smiles in this black and white photograph donated by Tacoma businessman Morris McCollum. Huntington, a longtime Tacoma-area sports broadcaster, founded the Washington State Sports Hall of Fame in 1960. He also was a sports reporter for many local daily newspapers and one of the founders of the Tacoma Athletic Commission, helped lead the funding for Stadium Bowl, the area’s first local sports arena, and was an award-winning radio and television sportscaster.Lexicon
