Photograph, b/w of the 551st boxing team, winner of the 1944 Carolina Boxing Championship. Bliss Croft, 3rd from right, was a Tacoma native and was an accomplished boxer in the 1940s. He served in the air force in WWII and was on the camp boxing team while stationed at Camp Mackall, North Carolina.
