Description

This vintage champagne bottle was part of the Tacoma Rainiers celebration for the 1995 season when they became associated with the Seattle Mariners. Tacoma that year changed its name from the Tigers to the Rainiers. They were the Tacoma Tigers from 1981 to 1994. And they've now been the Tacoma Rainiers from 1995 to the present, keeping their association with the Seattle Mariners. Prior to those periods, Tacoma's associations were brief and ongoing. They were the Tacoma Yankees in 1978 when they had the Yankee association for a year. Then they became the Tacoma Tugs for a year in 1979 and then the Tacoma Tigers in 1980, a mascot name they kept from 1981 to 1994.
