Here is a University of Puget Sound football helmet which was used back in the day when the Loggers' school colors were green and gold like the Green Bay Packers. But UPS changed its colors back to maroon and white in 1998. Originally, the UPS's school colors were maroon and white and changed to green and gold in the 1968. UPS switched to the NCAA division in 1967 and with that change school officials agreed to change their school colors. They wanted to rebrand their athletics with “winning colors.”Lexicon
