Description

A yellow megaphone with a cartoon cat in a bowtie was used by Carole Preuss while she was a Lincoln High School cheerleader for the Lynx in Seattle. Cheerleading was popular among the student body as they led students during football, basketball games and pep rallies. Lincoln High School began in 1907 but the school was closed in 1981 due to falling enrollment. It was reopened by the Seattle School District in 2019.
