Description

Long-time umpire Quinn Wolcott signed this baseball on the Tacoma Rainiers' first home game of the season at Cheney Stadium back on April 15, 2011. In 2006 at just 19 years old, Wolcott was the youngest umpired hired to the minor leagues. Seven years later in 2013, Wolcott made his major league debut at age 26. He worked in the minor leagues and major leagues that year and the following year on July 4, 2014 he was put full time on the major league umpire roster. After graduating from Emerald Ridge High School in Puyallup in 2005, Wolcott enrolled at Pierce College but then attended umpiring school instead, launching his major league career.
