Description

Dusty Rhodes was an outfielder for the 1961 Tacoma Giants, just seven years after he was the hero of the 1954 World Series while playing for the New York Giants. In the 1954 World Series, Rhodes belted a pinch hit home run in the bottom of the tenth inning off of Bob Lemon to win the game. He played for the New York Giants from 1952-57 and San Francisco Giants in 1959 before coming to the Tacoma Giants.
