Jack Walters drills an iron shot as he plays a round at the Fircrest Golf Course – his home course – in preparation for another tournament. He had longevity to his game, winning his first club championship in 1932 and his last in 1967 – a span of 35 years. Walters won his first left-handed tournament in 1953 and his second at his home course in Fircrest in 1960. He won the Pacific Northwest tourney for lefties 16 times. He's been selected to the Pacific Northwest Golf Association's and the Tacoma-Pierce County Sports Hall of Fame.Made/Created
