Marv Tommervick was one of the best passers and runners for touchdowns while playing for Pacific Lutheran College in the 1940s. He was a two-time Little All-American and was among the top passers among all college quarterbacks in 1941. He was one of the “Marvelous Marv's” on this PLC football team. Marv Harshman was the other “Marv” on the Lutes football team. Tommervik went on to become a referee and in 2013 he was included in the Pac-12 Football Officials Associations Field of Honor.
