Description

Milt Woodard, a 1930 graduate of Tacoma's Stadium High School, was among the original founders of the American Football League and was the AFL's assistant commissioner from 1960-66 and the AFL president from 1966-70. Woodward and NFL commissioner Pete Rozelle helped organize the first Super Bowl. He received this honorary football in the picture after Dallas defeated Houston 20-17 in the third AFL championship games in 1962.
