Description

Skiers lug their gear up a 2.5- to 3-mile trail between the Narada Falls parking lot and Paradise in 1934. For many years Mount Rainier National Park didn’t open the road beyond Narada Falls so visitors got in a pretty good workout before they even hit the slopes. Many visitors made a weekend of their trips, staying at a lodge at Paradise.
