Description

Despite a light cloud blowing in the wind, three hikers get a beautiful view of Mount Rainier from Pinnacle Peak, which is in the middle of the Tatoosh Range at 6,562 feet. It's the second highest peak in the range and it is a popular hike. Pinnacle Peak Saddle Trail is 2.4 miles and the trail head is located near Paradise Inn at the parking lot of Reflection Lakes in Mount Rainier National Park. It's a steep hike as hikers gain 1,000 feet in elevation in just one mile on the way to the summit. There are four routes to the summit, two from the south side and two from the north side.
