Frank Stojack goes through some drills with a teammate with the Brooklyn Dodgers of the NFL back in the mid 1940s. Stojack, who was born in Canada in 1912 and grew up in Tacoma, played football at Washington State University in the early 1940s. After playing two seasons with Brooklyn and several in the CFL and semi pro football, he turned to professional wrestling and became the light heavyweight champ in 1953. That same year Stojack was elected to the Tacoma city council. When he died in 1987, he donated $300,000 to the Boys & Girls Club of America.Lexicon
