Denver Broncos #52 linebacker Fred Forsberg got his start playing football at Woodrow Wilson High School in Tacoma and went on to play at the University of Washington and hard-nosed head coach Jim Owens. The 6-foot-1, 235 pound Forsberg was formidable at his position, distributing out about 20 concussions to opposing players during his football career. Forsberg was drafted into the American Football League draft in 1966 by the Broncos and played six seasons including spending time playing for the Buffalo Bills and San Diego Chargers. He also played for the Victoria Steelers of the Continental Football League in 1967.
