Pat Harbottle smiles for a photo as she sits next to a golf tournament trophy she won. Harbottle was no stranger to winning golf tournaments. At just 14, she won her first Seattle Women's City titles and came back to win it the next year. In 1952, she won an impressive string of tournaments, winning the Pacific Northwest, the Washington Amateur, the Oregon Amateur and NCAA titles. After she married John Harbottle in 1957, she won the PNGA title in 1965 and the Washington State championship in 1974. she was inducted into the PNGA Hall of Fame in 1985 and the State of Washington Sports Hall of Fame in 1999 and Tacoma-Pierce County Sports Hall of Fame in 2005.Lexicon
