Jim Davenport speaks at the 1960 Sports Hall of Fame banquet for the Tacoma Athletic Commission. Davenport was an infielder for the San Francisco Giants from 1958-70, compiling a .258 career batting average over 1,501 games. He was a two-time All-Star and won a Gold Glove in 1962. The Giants' top minor league affiliate from 1960-65 was the Tacoma Giants.
