George Karpach of the Cheney Studs received this trophy for winning the Washington state championship at the 1954 AABC (American Amateur Baseball Congress) tournament.
It was the first season for the Cheney Studs, who went on to place second at nationals in 1955 and 1959 and winning it all in 1960.
