Description

This jacket was presented to Phil Swimley after the Cheney Studs baseball team won the 1960 AABC (American Amateur Baseball Congress) national championship. Swimley went on to coach baseball for 36 years at UC-Davis, winning 902 games. Earl Hyder's two-out, two-run home run in the ninth inning to beat Detroit, 3-1, for the title.
