Description

This is headgear worn by Tacoma heavyweight boxer Bliss Lee Croft from the 1940s. Croft, who was born in 1921, posted a 13-5-2 record with 12 knockouts as a professional from 1944-48. Early in his career, he fought twice in a 14-day span in London in 1944, knocking out Al Pearson on Dec. 4 but losing a decision to Arnie Sauerland on Dec. 18.
