Garth Butcher, right, lays a hard check into his opponent on his 1991-92 Upper Deck trading card. The 6-foot defenseman was drafted in the first round of the 1981 NHL Draft by the Vancouver Canucks. Butcher played in 897 games, amassing 2,302 penalty minutes and 206 points during a 15-year career, 10 with the Canucks. Butcher also played for St. Louis, Quebec and Toronto.
