Description

Dino Ciccarelli was a dynamite right winger during his 19-year NHL career. Ciccarelli, who was undrafted, was a fan favorite during his playing days with the Minnesota North Starts, which is the team he was pictured on the back of his 1990-91 Topps Stadium Club trading card. Ciccareeli was played his rookie season with Minnesota in 1980 and played for them for eight-and-a-half seasons before being traded to the Washington Capitals during the 1988-89 campaign. Ciccarelli’s best season came in 1981-82, when he amassed 106 points (55 goals, 51 assists). He scored 30 goals at least seven times in nine seasons with the North Stars. His 367 goals during the span from 1981-1990 was fifth among all players, behind Wayne Gretzky, Jari Kurri, Michel Goulet and Dale Hawerchuk. Ciccarelli was inducted into the NHL Hall of Fame in 2010.
