Description

The six-foot-four, 210-pound Sean Burke was a formidable goaltender for the New Jersey Devils as seen in his 1990-91 Topps Stadium Club hockey card. Burke became a prototypical goalie due to his size as well as his agility, quickness and range around the net and was drafted by the Devils in the second round in 1985. He played 20 years of professional hockey, including with the Hartford Whalers, Carolina, Vancouver, Philadelphia, Florida, Phoenix and Tampa Bay. He finished his career with a 2.96 goals against average and .902 saves percentage.
