Tacoma's Miss B & I hydroplane sits on a trailer.
The photograph was donated by hydroplane driver George Henley of Eatonville, who earlier in his Thunderboat career was a crew member in the 1950s on several boats, including the Miss B & I.
Henley's first unlimited hydroplane ride was the Burien Lady, which he piloted to a second-place finish at the Seafair regatta in 1970.
