Description

Alan May had a 19-year career in the NHL, not a bad showing for the Alberta native who went undrafted. May, played for Boston and Edmonton during the first two years of his career, but didn’t get major playing time until he signed with the Washington Capitals in 1989-90. May, seen during his playing days with the Capitals on his Topps Stadium Club trading card, played in 77 games his first season and had five solid seasons with Washington before playing for Dallas and Calgary to finish his career.
