Description

Ray Bourque’s Topps Stadium Club hockey card. A fan favorite no matter where he played, defenseman Ray Bourque was a legendary NHL Hall of Famer who played in 19 All-Star Games, was a 13-time NHL First Team All-Star, six-time Second Team All-Star and won a Stanley Cup title with the Colorado Avalanche. While it was with the Avalanche that Bourque won his one-and-only title, it was with Boston that Bourque grew into a legend and all-star. Bourque was drafted by Boston as the eighth pick overall in 1979. He played 19 of his 21 seasons with Boston, winning the Lester Patrick Trophy, James Norris Memorial Trophy five times, the King Clancy Memorial Trophy and the Calder Memorial Trophy. Bourque was named to the NHL’s 100 Greatest Players List and finished with 1,579 points in 1,612 games including 1,169 assists and 410 goals.
