Ahmad Rashad, wearing jersey number 28, reaches for a pass as a defender plays tight defense against him and also reaches for the ball. After graduating from Mount Tahoma High School in 1965, Rashad, who changed his named from Bobby Moore, went on to earn All-American honors in 1971 while playing wide receiver at the University of Oregon. In the 1972 NFL draft, he was the fourth player picked and was selected in the first round by the St. Louis Cardinals. He went on to be a four-time All-Pro selection. Over his NFL career, Rashad played for the Cardinals, Buffalo Bills and the Minnesota Vikings. When his NFL career ended, he went on to be a successful sports announcer, earning numerous Emmy nominations. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2007 and the Tacoma-Pierce County Sports Hall of Fame in 2005.Lexicon
