Back in the early 1990s, Bobby Lutch was a star quarterback at Eatonville High School, throwing for lots of yards and touchdowns. He set state and school records for touchdown passes, passing yards and completions. In 39 high school games over his four-year high school career, Lutch threw 132 touchdown passes, completed 537 of 933 passes and threw for 8,969 yards. With his 132 touchdown passes, he was the all-time national leader. He was opponent's worst nightmare and his home team's dream come true. Conan Kempf, who graduated in 1992, was one of Lutch's favorite targets. Kempf, who was an all-state selection and ranked among the top 50 receivers in the country, finished his high school career with 105 receptions and 19 touchdowns.
