Description

A picture of Floyd "Lefty" Isekite as he pitches during a game. Isekite is arguably the greatest pitcher in Tacoma baseball history. Isekite played for Cammarano (1931), Kimball's (1933) and Pacific Match (1934) in the City League. During the 1934 season, Lefty struck out 85 batters in 105 innings. He would later go on to play minor league baseball with the Tacoma Tigers from 1937-1940 where he was named to the All-Star team on three separate occasions.
