New York Yankees legend Babe Ruth (middle row, fourth from left) and teammate Bob Meusel (middle row, third from left) pose with members of the Tacoma City League All-Stars and fans on October 18, 1924. The Tacoma City League All-Stars beat the SW Washington Timber League All-Stars 5-3 before an estimated 6,000-8,000 fans. Ruth hit an RBI double in eight at-bats during the game. Meusel hit a home run to left field in his seven at-bats.
