Description

This is an official Major League Baseball autographed by Gene Conley. The ball is inscribed “W.S. Champs 1957” and “NB.A. Champs 1959-60-71” below Conley’s signature between the red stitches. Conley, who attended Richland High School and Washington State University, is one of two athletes (along with Otto Graham) to win championships in two of the four major American spots. Conley won the 1957 World Series with the Milwaukee Braves and three NBA championships with the Boston Celtics from 1959-61. Conley pitched for the Boston Braves (1952), Milwaukee Braves (1954-58), Philadelphia Phillies (1959-60) and Boston Red Sox (1961-63). He played in the NBA for the Celtics (1952-53, 1958-61) and New York Knicks (1962-64).
