This is a yellow penalty flag used by Tacoma college football referee Jay Stricherz.
Stricherz, a 1965 Franklin Pierce graduate, served as a college football official for 35 seasons, retiring in 2014. Stricherz worked as school administrator in Tacoma for 31 years.
