This is the front and back of the 1988 trading card of Tacoma Stars forward Preki.
The back of the card has Preki’s biographical information (height 5-10, weight 160, born 6-24-63, citizenship Yugoslavia, home Tacoma, WA) and statistics for the 1985-86 and 1986-87 seasons (99 total games played, 82 goals, 77 assists, 159 points).
The back of the card also says, “In only his second season Preki was named to the MISL All-Star Team. He scored 19 goals in the Stars 1986-87 playoff games and had 4 winning goals. Was voted Stars Met Life Player of the Year for the 1985-86 season.”
Born Predrag Radosavljevic, Preki scored 209 goals in 247 matches for the Stars from 1985-90.
Preki also received 28 caps for the United States men’s national team from 1996-2001, scoring four goals.
Preki is the only player to have twice won the MLS MVP Award and the MLS Scoring Champion Award (1997, 2003) and is the all-time league leader in points scored (270 on 79 goals and 112 assists, plus another 25 points on 10 goals and 5 assists in the playoffs).Lexicon
