Description

#10 Fern Perrault played for the Tacoma Rockets during the 1948-49 season. He played 70 games, notching 37 goals, 40 assists for 77 points as the Rockets made the playoffs and was named a PCHL First Team All-Star. Perrault played the next season for the New York Rangers in the National Hockey League in just one game, before playing semi-pro for the New Haven Rambers. He played the next 10 years in the minors with his best season coming in 1956-57 for the Chicoutimi Sagueneens. The Rockets were a professional team that played in Tacoma from 1946 to 1953. Tacoma played in the Pacific Coast Hockey League until becoming a member of the Western Hockey League during the 1952-53 season and relocating to the Tacoma Ice Palace.
