The Thunderbirds beat Issaquah, 21-3, to defend their Class AAA state championship.
Mike Vindivich, Fred Baxter, Arnie Richards and Alain Patton made big plays for the Thunderbirds.
Vindivich, an all-state running back, ran for a touchdown and threw a TD pass to Patton on a fake field goal.
Quarterback Baxter ran for 126 yards, including a 11-yard TD run.
Richards intercepted a pass and returned it 40 yards to set up Vindivich's 17-yard TD run.
