Sportscaster Clay Huntington (left, holding a plaque) talks to former Tacoma News Tribune sports editor Dan Walton at the induction ceremony at the 1966 Washington Sports Hall of Fame. Walton was born in Missouri and moved to Aberdeen when he was 20. He started working for the Tacoma Ledger in 1921, but moved to The News Tribune when the Ledger closed in 1937. Walton retired from The News Tribune in 1937.
