Baseball Hall of Famers Leo Durocher, left, and Ron Santo appeared at a Tacoma Athletic Commission event in the 1960s. Durocher, nicknamed Leo the Lip for his 95 ejections during his career as a manager, was on his best behavior at the event. He played 17 seasons and won more than 2,000 games as a manager. He was inducted into the MLB Hall of Fame in 1994, three years after he died. Santo, a nine-time all-star for the Chicago Cubs, was born in Seattle and was a three-sport star at Franklin High. He was inducted into the MLB Hall of Fame in 2012, two years after his death.Lexicon
