Here is a black-and-white photo of Tacoma Athletic Commission's Sports Hall of Fame banquet, which has become a popular annual event. It's a salute to the star performers of yesterday and today. For 75 years, the Tacoma Athletic Commission has been a major supporter of amateur sports in Pierce County. They have raised and donated more than $6 million to local sports. The TAC began its hall of fame inductions in 1957. Clay Huntington and Dan Walton were the TAC's sports hall of fame committee's co-chairmen in 1957.Relationships
