Defenseman #6 Andy Lambrecht was a former player for the Tacoma Rockets in the 1940s-50s. Lambrecht played for Tacoma from 1948-51 helping lead the Rockets into the playoffs all three seasons. Lambrecht went on to play for the St. Paul Saints (SHL), New York Rovers (QSHL) and the Regina Capitals (WCSHL). The Rockets were a professional team that played in Tacoma from 1946 to 1953. Tacoma played in the Pacific Coast Hockey League until becoming a member of the Western Hockey League during the 1952-53 season and relocating to the Tacoma Ice Palace.
