The 1982 Tacoma Athletic Commission board included, from left (at the top of the stairs) Ed Honeywell, Bud Barnes, Jerry Bietz, Don Hill, Don Smith and Doug McArthur. McArthur served as TAC president in 1982, while Smith (1983), Barnes (1984) and Bietz (1985) would later hold the position. All of the men spent years helping direct the TAC.
