Description

Here is a black-and-white photo of three young boxers after a workout or a fight. Butch Pasquale, who was born in Tacoma in 1948, is the boxer on the right with the towel around his neck. Pasquale went on to shine on the baseball field. As a senior at Mount Tahoma High School in 1966, he was named the most valuable player on the city's all-star game and he played in the state's all-star game. He later excelled on the softball fields and was inducted into the Tacoma Athletic Commission's Hall of Fame in slow pitch softball.
