Marv Tommervik when he was quarterback of the Tacoma Indians semipro football team. When he played on Pacific Lutheran College's football team, he was the Northwest's Player of the Year in 1946 and was a two-time Little All-American. He was one of the “Marvelous Marv's” on the PLU football team. Marv Harshman was the other “Marv” on the team. Harshman went on to coach basketball at PLC, Washington State and the University of Washington.Lexicon
