Description

Frosty Westering, who was the head football coach at Pacific Lutheran University for 31 years, speaks to his football team during a practice. Well known for his motivational speaking, Westering wrote a book titled “Make the Big Time Where You Are.” The theme of the book is making a difference wherever you are at. In preseason training, Westering would take his teams to the beach for a week-long getaway, knitting his players for the upcoming season and setting lifelong goals. Westering won four national titles at PLU and compiled a 262-70-5 record with the Lutes. His career record of 305-96-7 is the most wins for the NAIA and ranks ninth in wins among all college football coaches.
