Pat Lesser Harbottle, standing on the left, poses for a photo while standing on a golf course holding her golf clubs. In the 1950s, Harbottle played on Seattle University's golf team and became the first woman to play on a college men's team. On that team, she met her future husband, John Harbottle. In 1948 at just 14 years old, she won the first of two back-to-back Seattle women's city titles. In 1952, she had a successful year as she won the Pacific Northwest, the Washington Amateur, the Oregon Amateur and NCAA titles.
