Description

Ken Still watches a tee shot he drilled sail down the fairway at a PGA tournament. For 23 years, Still played on the PGA, joining the tour full time in 1960. In 1970, Still teamed up with Gene Littler and won the CBS Golf Classic. In 1970, Still, who was born in Tacoma in 1935, had his best finish in a major tournament when he placed fifth at the U.S. Open. Over the years, Still had three top 25 finishes in the U.S. Open. In 1971, Still rallied into contention at the Masters on the final day of the tournament, finishing with a closing round 69 to tie for sixth place. In his career, he played in six Masters, 13 U.S. Opens and seven PGA Championships.
